In June of 2021, dentsu mcgarrybowen China announced the appointment of two ECDs - Hiroshi Yoda and Zoey Guo. They will report to Kaz Tsuburaku, Chief Creative Officer of dentsu mcgarrybowen China.
Hiroshi Yoda has been with Beijing Dentsu since 2006. As the Group Executive Creative Director of Beijing Dentsu for 13 years from June 2019, he was responsible for the brand building and communication of FAW, Toyota, Lexus, Canon, Shiseido Aupres and other top brands. He then led Tokyo dentsu's global creative department for two years starting in 2019. In a career spanning more than 25 years, Hiroshi Yoda has been responsible for many global clients including Procter & Gamble, Shiseido, Panasonic, McDonald's, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Nestle, and Coca-Cola. And has won many international awards, such as Cannes Award, Creole Award, Effie Award, China International Advertising Award and so on. He also served as a judge in various advertising awards such as London International Advertising Awards, China International Advertising Awards, and China 4A Gold Seal Awards. Hiroshi Yoda said: “I'm very glad to come back here. With the excellent staff, I want to create new communication by making full use of ideas based on deep insight and the latest technology.”
Zoey Guo has 14 years of experience in the advertising industry. Before joining in dentsu mcgarrybowen China, she worked for international and local 4A advertising agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather, Beijing Dentsu, Wunderman Thompson, Union Interactive, Conde Nast International Fashion Media Group, and as an entrepreneur to set up her own creative hot store. With her rich experiences in traditional and digital advertising business as well as creative execution, she made a perfect combination, and has a wealth of cross-industry customer service experience, integrated project and team management experience. Zoey Guo said, “It's a great honor to come back to dentsu and meet all of you. It's like coming back to a very familiar ship. I am looking forward to our future journey together, learning from each other, fighting together, creating influence, embracing the stars and the sea.”
