On May4-5, 2018, the Cannes Young Lions China hosted by the Modern Advertising was held in Beijing. Jonathan TSE, President of dentsu X China, was invited to serve as the jury for contest and gave a speech. This contest also invited many industry senior experts as judges, such as Lo Sheung Yan, Tomaz Mo.
On the forum, Jonathan gave a speech entitled "Beyond Exposure - How to Use Technology and Insight to Enhance Consumer Experience." He first interprets advertising from the five aspects of "life experience, insight, creativity, media presentation. and sales promotion." He said that the most important thing for today's advertising environment is to provide better services for advertisers through "Insight X technology" resolve social problems, while enhancing the user experience. He also cited Beijing Dentsu's award-winning cases Fami-Navi, Changing Room, Sonic Sweetener, Pocky Share Happiness and other cases to let contestants have a better understanding of technology application and future trends.
The contestants from Beijing Dentsu, Wang Huiwen and Yang Yiwei are elected as finalists of print category, Cong Jiawen and Zhou Jiaqing are elected as finalists of digital category; Liu Zhaokui and Pang Qichao elected as finalists of marketing category; Liu Songlin and Jiang Yuan a are elected as finalists of design category.
